PinknBlossom Review

About PinknBlossom

I have been wanting to review a few Canadian K-Beauty sites for quite some time and I decided to start with a fave of mine, PinknBlossom. Before I dive into my PinknBlossom review, I thought I would provide some background on the company. PinknBlossom is an online provider of Korean skincare and makeup products to North America. They are headquartered in Ontario and are 100% Canadian owned. According to their site, every product is sourced directly from the brands or trusted suppliers, ensuring consumers receive 100% genuine K-beauty products.

PinknBlossom currently offers over 2500 products from just over 90 brands. While their site is focused on selling beauty products, you will find some other random categories such as socks and food snacks. You will even find an impressive assortment of toilet seat covers. It is clear, however, that their bread and butter is skincare. That is the category that I find myself repeatedly shopping for on their site. Their offering includes popular skincare brands like Cosrx, Missha, Dear Klairs, I’m From, Heimish, Innisfree, and much more.

PinknBlossom Perks

I have shopped a lot of different K-beauty sites and one of my favourites remains PinknBlossom. The selection of products and brands isn’t very different to what you will find on most K-beauty sites but there are a number of things that set PinknBlossom apart. The first is their breadth of promos. If you check PinknBlossom’s site, you will find that there is a promo running almost every day of the year. These could be sitewide, category, or brand promos. Certain deals are more lucrative than others but it is easy to find one that you can’t pass up.

Below is a photo of my last PinknBlossom haul. This was purchased during their “up to 70% off” semi-annual sale in July. I have gone through many bottles of the popular Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence and this is the lowest I have ever paid for it. It costs anywhere from $22-25 on Amazon and Walmart and I picked it up for just over $16!

The second perk of shopping on PinknBlossom is the samples that come with every order. I am not talking about a couple of samples like most sites give out. PinknBlossom claims that they give out “a generous bounty of samples” with every purchase and I can confirm that this is accurate. I have received over five samples with every order that I have placed and the samples are very generous. My last order came with two Tony Moly face masks as samples. I would consider these masks full-sized products and getting them as samples is impressive.

The final perk that I want to mention is their rewards program. It is very easy to rack up points and get discounts for future orders. Every dollar spent gets you 10 points and 500 points gets you a $5 reward. This means if you spend $50 then you are getting back 10% of the order in the form of a discount for your next purchase. You can also earn points for certain actions. Creating an account and celebrating a birthday each give you 500 points. Accumulating points is an easy endeavor on PinknBlossom and the good news is that you can redeem points and stack discounts even during sales.

It is not hard to see in this PinknBlossom review that I am fan of the site. Their Customer Service Team is also worth mentioning as they are very responsive via email and on Instagram. If I had to pick one thing that I would change it would be their free shipping minimum. You need to spend $69 to get free shipping which has prevented me in the past from placing a small reorder of a skincare product that has run out.
