2024 National Lash Day Deals

It’s that time of the year! National Lash Day is upon us and I am here with your mascara deal round-up. This fun day falls on February 19th every year and the objective is to promote the love for lashes. It is believed to have been started back in 2015 by the House of Lashes brand. Today, it is celebrated by dozens of makeup brands with some pretty exciting promotions. There is literally no better time in the year to purchase or restock your mascara favourites. Here is a list of all the 2024 National Lash Day deals and whether they are worth your money. Bobbi Brown

I have an ongoing beef with Bobbi Brown in that their free shipping minimum of $75 often prevents me from taking advantage of their sales. They are no slouch when it comes to offering deals and giving out decent discounts with 25-30% off being their norm. My advice is to pass on this sale and wait for their sitewide sales where you can combine other products to hit the minimum. The next one is in April. Another option is to check out their “Last Chance” page where they have some pretty decent markdowns.

Fenty Beauty

This lash promo is advertised as a VIP Exclusive which basically means that it has gone out to email subscribers and is not advertised on their website. While I do think that 50% off is a great discount I am not too excited about this deal. You need to spend $100 CAD to get free shipping on the Fenty Beauty Canadian site and I am pretty sure that is a lot more mascara than any of us need. I suspect this mascara will be included in Sephora’s National Lash Day on the 19th so I say wait until then.

IT Cosmetics

No, no, no. I will keep my commentary short and sweet on this one. IT Cosmetics literally has a 25-35% off sitewide sale almost monthly so you can do much better than this gift-with-purchase.

KVD

I usually consider 30% off a respectable discount but not in this case. That’s because I have seen KVD offer up as much 50% off on their mascaras during Black Friday. I wouldn’t call their current promotion their best deal but if you are looking to restock then it may be a good time to buy. As for their infamous Tattoo Liner, I would say that 30% off is the best you are going to get and the good news is that this deal includes sets.

Lancôme

If I was giving out awards for the best deal it would probably go to Lancôme. Their National Lash Day deal is simple and straightforward. No exceptions, no fine print. You get 50% off all their mascaras and this even includes their Lash Revitalizing Serum. This is a huge improvement over last year where only one of their less popular mascaras was on sale. Way to go Lancôme!

MAC Cosmetics

This mascara deal is a hard pass from me. It is on par with their offering from last year but not as lucrative as some of their other sales. I would hold out for their MAC Lover sale in March where you can get 25% off sitewide. This way you can at least combine products to hit their shipping minimum. If you are not in a rush then I would hold out for their “Buy More, Save More” sale in April. This is where you can usually save 30% off. Another option is waiting until Black Friday where you can get 30% or even 40% off.

Marcelle

I want to start off by giving kudos to Marcelle for being a very generous brand when it comes to discounts. Their sitewide sales are frequent and the discounts are deep. They are one of the few brands that I know that offers 40% off during Black Friday. Considering that the brand just wrapped up a 30% off sale for Valentine’s Day, I would call this lash promo a miss. I also know that they have their spring sale coming up in March and savings there will also be 30% off. I say hold out for something better.

NARS

This is a slightly better deal than last year given that it includes a gift-with-purchase. That is the only nice thing I will say as 20% off doesn’t compare to some of the other 2024 National Lash Day deals. NARS has their spring sale coming up in March and Friends & Family sale coming up in May. Both offer 20% off so you may as well wait until then if you really want this mascara. It will be way easier to hit the $35 free shipping minimum during those sales.

Sephora

Sephora started the weekend with a buy one, get one 50% off on all mascaras. That deal ended yesterday and we all knew that a bigger and better deal was on the horizon. Well, it’s here and it’s not too shabby. Like every year, they have marked down a select group of mascaras anywhere from 30% to 50% off. There are roughly 75 mascaras on sale from such brands as Clinique, Lancôme, Benefit, Too Faced, Urban Decay, and more. The highlight of the sale for me is the Gucci mascara which is 50% off. I have heard great feedback on this mascara and this is the perfect time to try it. The breadth of mascaras on sale is Sephora’s main advantage when it comes to 2024 National Lash Day deals.

Wander Beauty

The award for most improved deal goes to Wander Beauty! Last year they offered a mini mascara trio gift on orders over $75 for National Lash Day. It was a boring and unattractive promotion compared to other brands. This year they have stepped it up with a pretty decent discount. I can’t speak to the quality of their mascaras but if you want to try them then now is the time.

Well.ca

Well.ca is a formidable contender when it comes to National Lash Day deals. They have just over 25 mascaras on sale from a variety of brands. This includes brands that are not on sale anywhere else such as Mineral Fusion and Pacifica Beauty. You only need to spend $35 to get free shipping and they have a lot of other sales going on which makes it easy to hit that threshold.
