Are the 2025 Singles’ Day Beauty Deals Worth It?
November is upon is and the beauty deal madness has already started. One of the most popular posts on Margin of Beauty is my Singles’ Day roundup where I evaluate each deal and its worthiness of your hard earned money. Black Friday is only a couple of weeks after Singles’ Day and most brands will have a deal for both. So the question is which is worth shopping? I have enough history and intel to give you an educated answer so you can score the best possible deal. Make sure you bookmark this post as new deals will be added daily as they are announced. Without further delay, let’s get right into it. Here is a comprehensive guide of all the 2025 Singles’ Day beauty deals in Canada and whether they are worth your money. *POST WILL BE UPDATED DAILY AS NEW 2025 SINGLES’ DAY BEAUTY DEALS ARE ANNOUNCED
Armani Beauty
WORTH IT (for members only). At first glance their deal on their website stinks. Last year they at least gave the option of saving 25% off if you spent $135. This year the most you can get is 20% off. That is unless you are subscribed to their newsletter. This is the first time I have seen Armani Beauty offer a members-only exclusive offer and I am here for it. They are offering members 25% off with no minimum spend. If you are a member then this deal is definitely worth it and the best I have seen from the brand. Their Black Friday offer typically is 20% off with an option for 25% off if you spend $100+. My advice is subscribe while you can and take advantage of this offer.

BABOR
WORTH IT. If you have been following this blog for a while you know I am all about a good BOGO (buy one, get one) deal. You are essentially getting 50% off and it is a great time to try new products. BABOR’s Singles’ Day is top notch and definitely better than the sitewide sale they run during Black Friday.

Biossance
NOT WORTH IT. Biossance always surprises me with their generous and frequent sales. Up until now that is. 22% off is one of the lowest discounts I have seen them run so clearly now is not the time to buy.

Biotherm
WORTH IT (kind of). Biotherm claims that this is their best deal of the year and that is 50% correct. They only offer 25% off sitewide during Black Friday so this 30% off is a nice step up. Where I disagree is with the discount on their holiday sets. The 15% off doesn’t quite compare to the 40% off gift sets that they offer during Boxing Day. You may risk some sets selling out but I think it is worth the gamble given the savings.

Bobbi Brown
NOT WORTH IT. I am pretty confident in saying that Bobbi Brown will be doing a 30% off sale for Black Friday. They have consistently offered this discount for the past few years. I may even suggest waiting until December because of their 10 Days of Bobbi Brown event. This is where they offer a different deal for the first 10 days of December. Some of the days include 40% off different categories like complexion. Regardless of when you shop, don’t forget to check Rakuten because Bobbi Brown typically has a special cashback offer in November where you can get 10-12% cashback.

Bumble and bumble.
NOT WORTH IT. I have it on good authority that Bumble and bumble will be running a 30% off sitewide sale during Black Friday. Based on that I say skip this one.

Chantecaille
NOT WORTH IT. I have to give kudos to Chantecaille as they are one of the few higher end brands that run decent discounts throughout the year. By decent I mean 25% off sitewide. They run this sale a couple times a year and Black Friday is one of them. Based on that, I say skip their Singles’ Day offer as something better is coming.

Clinique
NOT WORTH IT. One of the reasons I started this blog is because I noticed that Clinique runs a 30% off sale regularly and that I never needed to buy their products full price. Needless to say, their Singles’ Day deal is one of the worst I have seen from them. Hang in there until Black Friday and I promise you will see a more exciting discount.

ColourPop
WORTH IT. This is the second brand that I have seen running a BOGO for Singles’ Day. I will never complain about a BOGO especially one like ColourPop’s that includes a large range of products. This deal is definitely worth a gander especially if you love this brand.

Elizabeth Arden
NOT WORTH IT. Given that Elizabeth Arden just wrapped up a 30% off sitewide sale in October I would have to say that their current offer is a dud. I can guarantee that their Black Friday discount is going to be better so I would wait a few weeks before placing any orders.

Kérastase
NOT WORTH IT. This deal is a bit ridiculous. You need to buy three products to get a measly 15% off. My first inclination would be just to wait for a Sephora Savings Event where you can get 15-20% off all Kérastase products depending on your tier (sale is on now until 11/10). Based on history, Black Friday doesn’t seem to be much better as they typically offer a free gift-with-purchase. My other recommendation would be to wait for December when Kérastase has historically run a 15% off bestsellers sale for most of the month.

Kiehl’s
WORTH IT. If you love Kiehl’s you will know that their Black Friday deal is typically a 25% off sitewide sale. Their best deal of the year is in time for Singles’ Day where they not only offer a 25% off sitewide discount but the opportunity to save 30% off if you spend over $150. On a side note, last year you needed to spend $165 to get 30% off so it is nice to see Kiehl’s reduce that threshold. They are also offering a gift-with-purchase which is something they do with almost every sale.

Lancôme
NOT WORTH IT. This deal by Lancôme is quite deceiving. Although they are advertising “up to 50% off” the actual deal is 25% off skincare and up to 50% off select sets. There really isn’t anything special about this sale or different than their other sales. My advice is to wait for Black Friday. Lancôme typically offers 25% off during Black Friday but if you become a loyalty member then you will get a 30% off email two days before their Black Friday sale goes live. They also have some other fun deals during Black Friday including a discount on holiday sets and some exclusive bundles which are very well priced.

Laura Mercier
NOT WORTH IT. I am not sure what is with these brands offering 20% off for Singles’ Day when we know a better discount is weeks away. This is a total pass. Laura Mercier is known to run a 25% off sale for Black Friday and an even better 30% off for Cyber Monday.

MAC
NOT WORTH IT. This deal by MAC is why I write this blog post every year. I don’t really know what the point of this sale is given that they will be running a 30% off sale in a couple of weeks. Please please save your money and wait until Black Friday.

NARS
NOT WORTH IT. I have a few thoughts about this deal by NARS. The 20% off sitewide sale is pretty standard for them and always disappointing. Black Friday is only marginally better as you can save up to 30% off but that comes with a spend threshold of $150. The second part of their Singles’ Day deal is the 30% off sets. Firstly, they are not sets. They are bundles defined by NARS. My experience with bundles is that it is hard to find something for everyone. The other thing I want to point out is that they advertise “30% off sets” but many of them are actually only 10% off. Overall this is a disappointing sale for me.

OLAPLEX
NOT WORTH IT. OLAPLEX has done a 180 when it comes to deals. When the brand first launched it was virtually impossible to find a discount on their products. I remember a friend of mine calling me and asking me where she can find their products on sale. Well…times have changed. They not only offers deals but we are starting to see discounts as high as 30% off. I suspect that is what is coming for Black Friday so stay tuned.

OLEHENRIKSEN
NOT WORTH IT. This deal is so bad it almost feels like a joke. OLEHENRIKSEN has literally had 50% off flash sales on these lippies throughout the year! Obviously I am going to say skip this deal. You are in for much better discounts during Black Friday including 30% off sitewide and 40% off certain products/categories.

Origins
NOT WORTH IT. Origins is known to consistently run a 30% off sale for Black Friday. They also usually offer a generous 15 piece gift-with-purchase. Based on history, I would say hold off on your Origins haul.

Shiseido
NOT WORTH IT. If you value gifts-with-purchase over discounts then maybe this deal is for you. Even then I should point out that they had a better gift last year which makes this deal even worse. If you value discounts then hang in there because you should be seeing a 25% off sale from Shiseido pretty soon. You can even get 30% off if you spend over $200. For that spend, I would take the 30% off over this gift any day.

Shu Uemura
NOT WORTH IT. Shu Uemura is very generous when it comes to deals. They run 30% off sitewide sales regularly and if you are an email subscriber then you are privy to a 35% off offer. Their Singles’ Day deal is not a showstopper and I would easily pass on it for what is to come. On a side note, they do have a sale section in honour of Singles’ Day where products are up to 60% off. If you specifically love their makeup then it may be worth a look.

Tarte
NOT WORTH IT. Last year, Tarte’s Singles’ Day deal was 50% off Shape Tape, lip, mascara, and more. It was an impressive sale. I feel like this year’s sale is trying to be similar but it is night and day. The selection is limited, the discounts are disappointing, and it just feels as though it was poorly put together. With that said, I do want to give Tarte kudos for their amazing deals throughout the year. They are known to run 35% off sitewide sales and 50% off flash sales which never disappoint. My advise is to wait for Black Friday and see what they come up with this year.

YSL Beauty
NOT WORTH IT. This one is pretty straight forward. YSL Beauty typically offers two discounts during Black Friday. There is their standard 20% off sitewide and then 25% off if you spend a certain amount. If you love the brand and think you will be spending north of $150 then it is worth waiting. YSL Beauty offers a gift-with-purchase for both deal events so you are not missing out by waiting for Black Friday.
