2025 National Lipstick Day Deals

July has become one of my most favourite months of the year. It is not because of the warm weather or the summer holidays. It is because of National Lipstick Day and everything that comes with it. This day falls on July 29th every year and every year my lipstick collection grows substantially as a result. Almost every beauty brand and retailer that sells lip products celebrates this day with some sort of deal or promotion. It is believed that Huda Kattan, founder of Huda Beauty, started this day back in 2006. The goal was simple – wear your favourite shade loud and proud. I have been rounding up all the National Lipstick Day deals for a few years now and this has become one of my most popular posts. So here it is again. Welcome to your guide of all the 2025 National Lipstick Day deals in Canada.

Armani Beauty

I couldn’t compliment Armani Beauty enough on their Lipstick Day deal last year. They offered a 50% discount on two of their popular lippies. Unfortunately, I don’t have the same level of compliments for their deal this year. The positive is that the deal is open to all their lip products which is nice. The negative is that the discount works out to 25% off which isn’t the most lucrative discount I have seen.

Bobbi Brown

Bobbi Brown’s National Lipstick Day deals get better every year. They went from offering one lipstick at 40% off to offering five at the same discount. It is not a shabby deal whatsoever which makes easy to build a cart to get over the $75 free shipping hurdle.

Clarins

I have a few thoughts on this deal. First of all, it is a big step up from last year where they only offered a gift-with-purchase that was a mini lip oil. Secondly, the discount is pretty decent. Most Clarins sales are limited to 20% off and the only way to get 25% off is to spend $150+. I can appreciate the effort here with their National Lipstick Day deal. The only downside to this sale is that it is limited to two of their lip products. Arguably these are two of their less popular lippies. That aside, I am giving Clarins kudos for this sale.

Clinique

It almost feel like brands are going backwards when it comes to their lipstick deals. Last year Clinique marked down most lipsticks and glosses to $19. The discount worked out to over 30% off. This year they opted for a straight 30% off sale which makes most of their lippies just over $23. If you love Clinique lip products then I would still recommend ordering now only because most of their sales don’t go over 30% off. This is as good as it gets unless they have a lucrative flash sale.

ColourPop

ColourPop is another brand that is offering a less juicy deal than they did last year. The discount on the lip sets is the same but lip singles were 50% off last year. Regardless, it is a great deal and their lip sets are shockingly well priced. You can get a set of 10 lip pencils or lipsticks for $29! UPADTE: ColourPop now charges duties so they are no longer Canadian-friendly and will no longer be part of Margin of Beauty.

Fenty Beauty

This sale is a disappointment. Fenty runs 25-30% off sitewide sales a few times a year so I would hold out on buying any lippies now. Also, if you check out Sephora’s sale section you will find a few of these Fenty lip products on sale for 25-50% off. This National Lipstick Day deal is a hard pass for me.

Fresh

Fresh always delivers when it comes to sales. I don’t think I have ever seen them run a promo that is less than 30% off. That said, I am a bit disappointed by this deal given that they offered 40% off all lip care last year. It is still a good time to shop their lip products though as it is unlikely that we will see anything better than 30% off this year.

Laura Mercier

Laura Mercier has been all over the place with their Lipstick Day deals. Two years ago they offered 25% off all their lippies. Last year they offered a gift-with-purchase. I am inclined to say skip this year’s deal and wait until Black Friday. You can likely score a better discount of 25-30% off. I do want to give them a shout-out though. Offering free shipping as part of their National Lipstick Day deal is a nice touch. Their minimum spend for free shipping is $70 so this allows you to pick up one lipstick without worrying about additional fees.

MAC

There is no debate that a 30% off discount is a decent discount but I can’t help but feel unexcited about this deal. We have been spoiled by MAC in the past with their 40% off lippie sales. They ran that promo two years ago on National Lipstick Day and have been known to run it during Black Friday. The only real highlight of their current deal is that it includes some of their newish lippies like the Lipglass Air Non-Sticky Gloss. I love MAC lip products but I think I am going to sit this one out as far as 2025 National Lipstick Day deals go.

Milani

I hate these kinds of BOGOs. If you are going to do a BOGO then I say do it right. Make it a buy one, get one free. My recommendation on this Milani Sale is to pass. They have 30% off sitewide sales frequently enough so you can get a better deal on their lippies. You also need to spend $85 to get free shipping so a sitewide sale might make more sense if you are trying to hit that threshold.

NARS

This deal is a bit deceiving. Most of their lip products are actually 20% off but they have marked down five of them by 40%. While it is not the most exciting deal it is a step up from last year where they offered 20% off across the board. Their popular Afterglow Lip Balms are 40% off which is the best deal I have seen on them ever.

Sephora

Now this is what I am talking about. Out of all the 2025 National Lipstick Day deals this one stands out. Last year Sephora announced their Lipstick Day deal on July 29th and it was a one day sale where over 80 lipsticks were 50% off. This year it looks like they are announcing new deals daily leading up to July 29th. Some of the brands that will be marked down daily include MAC, Tarte, Gucci, and Sephora Collection. I am excited to see what lies ahead and my credit card is ready to go.

Shiseido

Shiseido lipsticks don’t get enough attention and they are actually quite good. I feel the same way about this sale. 25% off is pretty decent for Shiseido. The best I have seen from them is 30% off during Black Friday but that came with a $200 minimum spend. If you are curious about their lipsticks then now is the time to try.

Vasanti

This a deal is a no. The discount is not enticing and they have much better sales during other times of the year. I am a big fan of Vasanti and I love that they are Canadian. Their lip products are wonderful and I highly recommend giving them a try. I would just try them at a different time of the year. 😉

YSL Beauty

For those that follow my blog you probably already know my thoughts on this one. It is a terrible deal. I love YSL Beauty lippies but I definitely don’t love this offer. You are better off waiting for any other YSL Beauty sale or even Sephora’s Saving Events.
