2022 National Lash Day Deals

Believe it or not, there is a day set aside to celebrate our lashes. It falls on February 19th and it has officially been declared as National Lash Day. The objective of the day is quite simple; to promote the love for lashes and to recognize not only their beauty but their functionality as well. The history of National Lash Day can be traced back to 2015, a move that was declared by the House of Lashes brand. Other beauty brands have been quick to capitalize on this lash holiday and now offer various promotions in honour of this day. Here is a round-up of all the 2022 National Lash Day deals and whether they are worth your dollars.

Shiseido

When I think of mascara, I can’t say that Shiseido is the first brand that comes to mind. Kudos to them for recognizing this day with a gift-with-purchase (GWP) even if it is not overly exciting. With that said, I also didn’t realize that they have a Lash Serum so my interest has been slightly piqued.

Lancôme

When it comes to mascara, Lancôme has asserted itself as quite the contender. They have a great lineup of over a dozen mascaras, which are respected in the beauty community. As far as National Lash Day deals go, they definitely fall short for me with their GWP promotion. Fingers crossed they redeem themselves and up their game as the day draws closer.

Clé de Peau

Clé de Peau is another brand that I can’t say I associate with mascara. They have one mascara offering and at $70 a pop, it better be life-changing. It is worth noting that their National Lash Day GWP does include a full size mascara which sets them apart from other GWPs we have seen.

Lilly Lashes

Given the niche of this brand, I was expecting a lot from Lilly Lashes and they delivered. The only deal they offer that is better is their Black Friday sale where everything is 50% off. They have also extended this deal for an entire week so they are clearly not messing around.

IT Cosmetics

IT Cosmetics started the week only offering a free mini mascara but has certainly stepped it up with 30% off all mascaras. Well done IT Cosmetics!

Smashbox

It looks like most National Lash Day deals so far are based on a GWP rather than a flat out sale or discount. A GWP needs to be pretty enticing to make me buy products at full price and the Smashbox offer comes close. They are offering a free full size mascara valued at $31 with any $75 purchase. Not too shabby.

Sephora

I was expecting big things from Sephora and while I am not disappointed, I am also not impressed. They have marked down just under 20 mascaras but almost half of them are from Clinique. Given the volume of mascaras that they carry, I would have expected a better selection. The markdowns, however, are worthwhile and most are 50% off. I can’t complain about that deal!

NARS

When it comes to deals and offers, NARS is typically a disappointment. Their biggest annual sitewide sale caps out at only 20% and their GWPs are rarely ever too exciting. Nothing to see here folks.

MAC Cosmetics

I hate to say it, but I am thoroughly disappointed by MAC as far as National Lash Day deals go. The deal is a bit misleading and implies that if you spend $30, you can get a best-selling lash product for $5. If you actually create a $30 cart, however, you will notice that the options only include five different fake lashes and couple of brow products. No mascaras in sight which would have really sweetened the deal.

Milani

Milani’s National Lash Day deal isn’t the worst I have seen but their shipping to Canada isn’t pretty. While I appreciate that they charge in Canadian dollars, I don’t love that you need to spend $85 to get free shipping to Canada. I usually just wait for Milani to go on sale at the local drugstore and pick up products then.

Marcelle

Marcelle always delivers when it comes to deals as well as the frequency and quality of their promotions. They certainly brought their “A” game with their National Lash Day deal. Who doesn’t love a good BOGO?

Bobbi Brown

If you keep track of Bobbi Brown’s sales, you will know that 30% off is as good as it gets. This is a worthwhile deal provided you can hit the $75 minimum for free shipping. You can see a summary of Bobbi Brown’s annual deals here.

Pat McGrath

Pat McGrath’s products may be pricey but she sure is generous with her promotions. As far as National Lash Day deals go, this is one of the best I have seen with 40% off all Pat McGrath Mascaras. Don’t forget that Pat lets you stack orders so if you are a first-time buyer, you can get an additional 10% off. Oh…and did I mention that shipping is always free, no minimums?!
