Part 2: Beauty Brands with the Most Generous First Purchase Discount

Last year, I posted about the Top 10 Beauty Brands with the Most Generous First Purchase Promos. These are brands that stand out from their counterparts in their incentive for first-time buyers. The beauty industry, however, is constantly changing and more brands are stepping up their game with competitive offers. I thought I would publish a second part to my original post showcasing more beauty brands with a very generous first purchase discount. These are brands that offer 20% or more off your first purchase and are motivated to close the sale.

1) Nudestix

Not much to say here as their first purchase discount speaks for itself. At 30% off, no beauty brand can compare or come close to enticing shoppers to hit “place order” on their cart. It is also worth noting that their generosity is not limited to this promotion as they are known to run multiple 40-50% off sales throughout the year. Thank you Nudestix!

2) Too Faced

I can’t say that I find Too Faced overly generous with their promotions in general as they seem to be few and far between. The exception is their first purchase discount. If you sign up for their emails then you will be awarded with a coupon code for 20% off. Not too shabby at all.

3) Marcelle

If you navigate through Marcelle’s website there is no indicator that they offer a first purchase discount at all. There is no pop-up that appears nor a mention of a promotion. Sign-up for their newsletter, however, and you will get a lovely welcome email with a unique code for 20% off your first purchase. Well played Marcelle!

4) Yellow Label Organics

Yellow Label Organics is an organic and all-natural skincare brand with products geared towards acne, wrinkles, and sensitive skin. They are a Canadian brand who donate a percentage of every sale to saving our native honeybee. Aside from their philanthropic efforts, they sure are generous with their first purchase discount of 25% off. Amazing!

5) Cake Beauty

Cake Beauty is another Canadian indie brand with a wide range of products for use from head to toe. They are mostly known for their dry shampoos from the deliciously scented Volumizing Dry Shampoo Spray to their range of Tinted Dry Shampoo Powders. While they don’t run sales frequently they do have an enticing first purchase discount of 20% off. Sounds pretty yummy to me!

6) Annabelle

Annabelle is a Canadian cosmetics brand that has been around for almost 50 years. They are known for their vibrant colours and bold shades but what stands out for me is their generous first-time buyer discount. At 20% off, it gives shoppers enough incentive to take a chance and try one of their already well-priced products.

7) Beautycounter

Focused heavily on clean beauty, Beautycounter is a skincare and cosmetics brand that screens every ingredient used in their products. They have a list of 1800 ingredients that they never use in their formulations and strive to have the cleanest standards in the beauty world. If that isn’t impressive enough they also offer 20% off your first purchase when you sign up to receive their emails. I like the sound of that!

8) Embryolisse

The story of Embryolisse dates back to 1950, when a French dermatologist created their legendary Lait-Crème Concentrate. This cult French Moisturizer sold thousands of units around the world and became a favourite of Makeup Artists everywhere. From there, the brand spread and the range grew. While the Lait-Crème Concentrate is often sold out, Embryolisse does offer first-time buyers $10 off their first purchase of $50+ if you are lucky to snag it. I am patiently waiting.
