2024 National Lipstick Day Deals
It is that wonderful time of the year again! National Lipstick Day is around the corner and I have been giddy about it since the beginning of the month. This day falls on July 29th every year and you can count on seeing deals from almost every beauty brand and retailer. There really is no better time of the year to fulfill your lipstick wishlist! It is believed that Huda Kattan, founder of Huda Beauty, started this day back in 2006. The goal was simple – wear your favourite shade loud and proud. I have been rounding up all the National Lipstick Day deals for a few years now and this has become one of my most popular posts. So without further delay here is your guide to all of the 2024 National Lipstick Day deals in Canada. Find out which ones are worth your dollars.

Armani Beauty
I am impressed. Last year you had to buy two Armani Beauty lipsticks just to get a measly 15% off. This year’s deal is way better. The generous 50% off is limited to two formulas but arguable they are Armani Beauty’s most iconic lip formula. The only downside is that you have to buy three to qualify for free shipping but if you are a fan of this lipstick then I would stock up. 50% off is no joke.
Anastasia Beverly Hills
There was a time when ABH offered a flat out buy one, get one free on National Lipstick Day. That has dramatically changed in the last two years which is evident with their current offer. They claim “there’s never been a better time to treat you lips.” Sorry ABH. There are plenty of better times and that includes every other promotion that you run. This is clearly not my pick as far as 2024 National Lipstick Day deals go.
Bobbi Brown
Bobbi Brown’s lipstick deals get better each year. Two years ago they offered 30% off. Last year they upped their discount to 40% off on their iconic Crushed Lip Collection. This year they are offering the same discount on the same collection but they have also discounted some other lippies. You can find their Luxe collection marked down by 25% which is a nice add-on. I can’t wait to see what Bobbi Brown does next year,
Clarins
Last year Clarins ran a 20% off makeup sale for National Lipstick Day and I was not a fan. I definitely prefer their 50% off deal this year even if it is limited to their lipsticks. I believe they recently revamped their lipstick formula and I want to try it. Now seems like the perfect time.
Clinique
I thought this deal was a winner last year and my thoughts have not changed. A $19 price point makes most of their lippies over 30% off which is a decent discount. If I had to complain about something it would be that their lip liners are excluded from this deal. I love their lip liners and would have gladly picked a couple up if they were also $19. Here’s hoping that next year will be different.
ColourPop
Now this is the type of deal I expect when it comes to 2024 National Lipstick Day deals. ColourPop isn’t available in Canada but they do have a Canadian-friendly website. You can get free shipping if you spend $60 CAD. Most of their lippies work out to around $5-7 with this deal so you will need to buy a lot to meet their free shipping requirement. The good news is that they are also offering 30% off lip sets and those retail for much higher. I believe there is no such thing as too many lippies so I fully endorse this deal!
Fenty Beauty
I will keep this one short and sweet. Fenty has an anniversary sale coming up at the end of the month and I believe the discount is 25% off. They are also known to have sitewide sales with discounts as high as 30% off. I am a Fenty fan but this lipstick deal is a hard pass from me.
Fresh
I praised this deal last year when Fresh offered it and I will praise it again. This is a very generous discount and a great deal if you love their lip products. Fresh also gets brownie points for applying this discount to new lippies and even sets. Dare I say this is one of the best 2024 National Lipstick Day deals?
Huda Beauty
Huda Beauty seems to be going through some company changes and based on this deal I am not liking their changes. They used to win the award for the best National Lipstick Day Deal with their buy one, get one free promotion. They have done this for the past three years. This year is a drastic change and I am not a fan. My recommendation is to check out Sephora where they have at least five Huda lippies included in their 50% off sale.
IT Cosmetics – Ended
IT Cosmetics wins for the first brand to offer a Lipstick Day deal. Where they don’t win is the deal itself. The brand is known to run a 30% off sitewide sale almost quarterly so I would pass on this deal.
KVD
I am not a fan of liquid lipstick so this deal is not for me. If you love this formula though then I say this isn’t a bad deal. It is equivalent to 30% off which is a pretty decent discount. Given that their lip liner costs the same as their liquid lipstick it would have been nice to include it in this sale. That would give consumers some variety and not rule out everyone that doesn’t wear liquid lipsticks.
Laura Mercier
I am hoping that this isn’t the only lipstick deal that Laura Mercier has planned. Last year they offered 25% off all lip products which is a way better offering. This is especially the case now given how much their prices have grown. My recommendation is to wait until later in the year to shop where they are known to offer 20-30% off sitewide.
MAC
I usually wouldn’t complain about a 30% off sale but times have changed. Last year MAC offered 40% off most lip products so this current deal feels like a disappointment. The only bright spot here is that this sale does include their newish M·A·Cximal Silky Matte Lipstick which has been excluded in a lot of previous sales this year. I think I am going to wait until Black Friday where they have offered 40% off lippies in the past and see what I get. UPDATE: Sephora currently is running 50% off MAC lippies so now is the time to stock up!
NARS
As much as I was hoping it would be different I knew NARS would offer 20% off. I personally find it a boring and unappealing promo. My advice is to skip this deal. You can get up to 30% off during Black Friday on their site which makes that a better time to shop.
Sephora
I never have high hopes for Sephora sales but boy was I proven wrong with this one. Sephora has marked down over 80 lipsticks by 50% off and some of their choices are a pleasant surprise. All MAC lipsticks are included which makes MAC’s Lipstick Day deal irrelevant. I highly recommend checking out this sale as there is something for everyone. You can find brands like Gucci, Makeup By Mario, Fenty Beauty, Huda Beauty, Pat McGrath, and more in this promotion. Kudos to Sephora for getting this deal right.
Shiseido
Shiseido is currently running a 20% off sitewide sale and it is nice to see that they gave lipsticks their own deal. It is even nicer that it is a better deal than 20% off. I consider their National Lipstick Day offering decent as 25% off is as deep as the discounts go for Shiseido. They have offered 30% off during Black Friday but that came with a minimum spend of over $200.
YSL Beauty
I am not sure who came up with this deal at YSL Beauty. If I really wanted to buy their lipsticks then I would just wait for one of their sitewide sales where you can get 20% off without any restrictions. They also offer 25% off during these sales but this discount usually comes with a minimum spend requirement. Their next sitewide sale is likely in September. My recommendation is to wait until then.
