2023 Mother's Day Deals in Canada For Beauty Lovers

While Mother’s Day may not be for everyone it could be a great time for everyone to shop. Most Retailers use this holiday to promote products that are perfect for the Mother in your life and they often include a deal or promotion for the occasion. This is especially prominent in the beauty industry and it is easy to find sales on skincare, makeup, fragrance, and haircare brands during this time. I have rounded up all the Mother’s Day deals in Canada and I am letting you know if they are worth your dollars. Clinique

Clinique is one of the reasons that I started my blog. They literally run a 30% off sale almost monthly and it made me realize that there is never a reason to shop full price again. With that being said, this Mother’s Day deal isn’t the most exciting given their other sales. They do get points, however, for offering a discount on gift sets which are usually excluded from sales.

Elizabeth Arden – Ends May 7th

I have shopped the Elizabeth Arden Canadian website many times and 25% off is as good as it gets except for maybe Black Friday. The only downside to this deal is that it comes with strings attached. You need to spend $100 to get this discount. At least spending $100 is an easy task for this brand!

Fresh – Ends May 7th

Fresh’s Canadian site is relatively new so I haven’t had a chance to really evaluate their sale frequency and how deep they discount. They do offer a gift-with-purchase pretty much year round that changes weekly. My initial thoughts on this sale is that it is decent. It is also worth mentioning that they do offer a gift-with-purchase if you spend $125 which sweetens the deal even more.

IT Cosmetics

While I do consider 25% off generous, I am not a fan of brands offering sales on predetermined bundles. It is often limiting and the combination of products may not suit a lot of people. That aside, I do want to give kudos to IT Cosmetics for always coming through with a decent discount during holidays. They run sales frequently and they are often as high as 35% off!

Lise Watier – Ended

Lise Watier is another generous beauty brand that runs promotions consistently throughout the year. I am partial to this brand given their Canadian roots and the quality of their products. Despite my fondness for the brand, I can’t say that this is their best offer as I have seen them go as high as 30% off during other sales. This sale also excludes new products which is a bit limiting.

MAC Cosmetics – Ended

MAC just wrapped up a 30% off sitewide sale so their Mother’s Day deal leaves a lot to be desired. They have been known to have sales as high as 40% off on their lipsticks which means now is not the optimal to buy. I should point out that this sale includes their newish Powder Kiss Velvet Blur Slim Stick which has been excluded from all previous sales.

MALIN + GOETZ

I rarely see any sales from MALIN + GOETZ so I was a bit surprised to see a Mother’s Day deal from them. Given that they barely runs sales and that 20% off is their max, I would say this one is worth checking out. This is especially the case if you are a fan of the brand.

Marcelle

Marcelle is a sister company to Lise Watier but their Mother’s Day deals couldn’t be anymore different. They are stepping it up with a generous 30% off sitewide. Add in free shipping and I say you have a winning deal!

Milani

I find it a bit funny that Milani has announced their Mother’s Day deal on the actual holiday. Seems a bit late to be buying your mom a gift! Regardless, I’ll never say no to a sale and appreciate the 25% off. My only gripe with Milani is that you need to spend $85 to get free shipping which is a lot given their price points.

Missha

Missha is one of the most popular Korean Beauty (K-Beauty) brands and they make shopping for Canadians very easy. I have been monitoring their site for years and not a single day passes where they are not offering some sort of promotion. They hold a 20% off sale called “Missha Day” every month in addition to sales of up to 50% off every year in July and December. While their Mother’s Day deal isn’t the best that I have seen, it also isn’t the worst.

PinknBlossom

PinknBlossom is one of my favourite K-Beauty sites in Canada. They have an amazing selection of products and brands, they run deals regularly, and they are very generous with their samples. If there is a K-Beauty lover in your life then it is worth checking out this sale and bookmarking this site.

Stila

A lot of people don’t realize that Stila has a Canadian site and that it is probably the best place to shop their products. I didn’t even realize all the products they have until I came across their site. They are certainly not known for deep discounts and frequent sales so I was pleasantly surprised by their Mother’s Day deal. 30% off sitewide is not too shabby!

Vasanti

Vasanti is another brand with Canadian roots that is built on sisterhood and inclusivity. Their products include both skincare and makeup and they pride themselves on being a clean brand and using 95-99% natural ingredients. I am a fan of this brand and plan on taking advantage of their generous sale to pick up some lippies for myself.

Yves Rocher

I often wonder how Yves Rocher manages to stick around as they are constantly running sitewide sales as high as 50-60% off. They certainly win the award for the most generous beauty brand when it comes to discounts. Their Mothers’ Day deal doesn’t really stand out with 30% off perfumes but if you actually go to their site, you will see that they have other promotions happening at the same time. This includes 40% off select skincare and an opportunity to spin the wheel and get 50% off a product. Not too shabby.
